While we don't currently have a location in Cape Coral we have 2 convenient locations for Cape Coral residents. Those locations are located at Fort Myers Beach and Punta Gorda. Keep in mind you have unlimited access to all of our corporate locations when you are a member.

Founded in 1989, the FBC is our country's oldest and largest member only boat club. Our first location was started in Sarasota, FL and has grown to 58 locations throughout the nation. If you join one of our 12 corporate locations, on the West Coast of FL, you will receive unlimited usage of our fleet of boats. These locations include St Petersburg, Tampa, Bradenton, Sarasota, Venice, Englewood, Punta Gorda, Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs, Naples, Jacksonville, and St. Augustine.
FBC boats range from 16 to 29 feet. These boats include:

Our boats are guaranteed to be new or like new. All FBC boats are equipped with four-stroke engines, which are extremely quiet and fuel efficient. They are also fully outfitted with all of the United States Coast Guard (USCG) required safety equipment. In addition, our boats come equipped with depth finders, fish finders, VHF marine radios, compasses, stereos ladders, anchors, and bimini tops.
As a FBC member, you are offered unlimited training. We have 12 USCG certified captains on staff that provide individual instruction. Our new member orientation includes 2 hours of classroom instruction followed by 2 hours on the water. We offer additional training for our offshore boats, twin engine boat, sailboat and unlimited local orientations at all ten company operated locations.
Your hassle free boating experience begins when you arrive at the dock. The dock master helps you get all your belongings loaded on the boat. You and your friends or family members head out on the water for a day of enjoyment.
Upon your return, you simply pay for the fuel you used. You may fuel the boat yourself, or leave that to our dock staff. The dock master then helps you take all of your belongings back to your car and then you drive away.
We do everything else. We clean the boat, which normally consumes two thirds of a boat owner's time, leaving only one third spent enjoying the water. As a FBC member, 100% of your time will be enjoying the water. We do all the required maintenance, a boat owner's average annual cost of maintenance is 15% of the purchase price of the boat. We store the boat, marina storage averages $12 per ft, per month. And with the FBC membership, you have none of the hassles of trailering.
We insure the boat, liability and towing insurance is included in your membership. As a FBC member, you are an additional insured party on our insurance policy. Your personal liability is insured to $300,000 and the boat (hull and machinery) is insured to $1,000,000
We are open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. and sunrise until sunset on the weekends. Early pick up, late return, and overnight usage can be arranged with prior authorization from reservationist. Some restrictions apply.
We have an On-Line Reservation System, that will allow you up to 4 advanced rolling reservations to be on the calendar at any time. You reserve the specific boat, time and place. In addition to the 4 reservations, you have unlimited "spur of the moment" usage of available boats. Simply call the dock master at any of our 10 locations to check availability.
We are a social club, at least once a month we have dock parties. These events are a great way to meet other members with similar interests. Our members share where the local fishing hot spots are, restaurants to enjoy, and islands to explore. Other social events include island cruises, dinner cruises, sunset cruises, casino cruises, and annually we go on a Caribbean cruise. FBC provides a hassle free boating lifestyle that you can only enjoy by becoming a member.
FREEDOM BOAT CLUB offers four membership options, the Freedom Boating Plan, Seasonal Boating Plan, Weekday Boating Plan, and the Friends and Family Plan.
The Friends and Family Plan allows you to put 2 couples on one membership..
With all the Freedom Boating Plans your monthly payments are guaranteed to remain fixed for as long as you remain a member and you may cancel your membership at any time by providing FREEDOM BOAT CLUB with a 60 day notice in writing, but you won't want too.
